Pre-operative Precautions
- If you have a history of allergies to medications or anesthesia, please inform the physician beforehand.
- If you have cardiovascular conditions or congenital diseases, please inform the physician and staff proactively.
- Discontinue medications that may affect blood circulation and impede wound healing to prevent unnecessary bleeding.
Post-Liposuction Care Instructions
- After liposuction, try to keep the wound dry to prevent infection.
- Use an ice pack to ice the liposuction area within 72 hours post-surgery; after 72 hours, switch to warm compresses to reduce swelling.
- Wearing elastic compression garments can reduce postoperative tissue swelling and prevent skin sagging. You can wear them immediately after surgery and are recommended to wear them for 3-6 months.
- If you experience abnormal symptoms such as hematoma or pain, return to the hospital for a follow-up appointment immediately.
- Reduce consumption of stimulating foods such as spicy food, caffeine, and smoking after liposuction to avoid affecting wound healing.
- Sutures can be removed after 5-7 days. Avoid getting the sutures wet before they are removed.
- Liposuction is not a weight loss surgery. Combining it with exercise yields better results. You can start gradual exercise as recommended by your physician after suture removal.

Liposuction FAQs
Who is Suitable for Liposuction Surgery?
Suitable
- Individuals aged 18-55 with good skin elasticity.
- Those with normal body weight but desire improvement in areas of significant fat accumulation.
Not Suitable
- Individuals under 18 years old.
- Those who are pregnant.
- Individuals with cardiovascular diseases, severe drug allergies, no venous thrombosis, and no coagulation disorders.
How long does liposuction surgery take?
The duration of liposuction surgery varies based on the number of areas treated. For example, arm liposuction takes about one to one and a half hours, thigh liposuction takes two to two and a half hours, and waist/abdomen liposuction is similar to thigh liposuction. If multiple areas are treated, the time adds up accordingly.
How long is the recovery period for liposuction?
The length of the recovery period after liposuction depends on the technique and the treated area. For instance, in the case of thigh liposuction, the wound typically takes about a week to heal, while swelling may persist for up to three weeks.
Are there additional costs associated with liposuction surgery?
In general, at Miracle Liposuction, almost all costs are included unless there are additional treatments desired post-surgery, such as LPG or reparative needle therapy, which may incur additional charges to the liposuction price.
Are compression garments included in the surgical fees for liposuction?
Compression garments are worn after liposuction surgery to help reduce swelling and promote skin adherence.
Once treatment is confirmed during the surgical consultation, compression garments are custom-made and included in the surgical fees. There's no additional cost unless there are specific requirements for replacement or additional purchases.
Are there any side effects or complications associated with liposuction surgery?
In general, each method of liposuction has its own characteristics. Currently, VASER liposuction is known for minimal blood loss, optimal skin tightness, and fat extraction volume.
Dr. Huang, with years of experience in liposuction, minimizes the occurrence of unevenness or pigmentation issues. The risk of side effects is minimal."
Is it necessary to wear compression garments after liposuction surgery?
After undergoing extensive liposuction, it's recommended to wear compression garments for about a month to help the skin adhere properly.
